I've tried lash primers before but it's always been a bit hit and miss. Although some have really nourished and conditioned my lashes, I haven't really been a fan of the resulting white lashes which can be difficult to cover fully with mascara. The latest offering from Benefit's They're Real range; the They're Real! Tinted Primer is the perfect lash primer solution as it tints, defines and primes lashes!
The primer is mink brown in colour and can work in two ways; you can wear it by itself to tint and define lashes for a natural look or as a prime under mascara to dramatically boost length & separation.
The gel formula is water resistant and enriched with Provitamin B5 to condition the lashes. The applicator brush is flexible and easy to use. Lashes are separated and defined with volume.

I really like that lashes aren't left dry or crispy so you get a very natural look with no sign of 'spidery lashes'. Overall I'm really impressed that my lashes are fuller with length and volume but still look natural. Whist I wouldn't say it's an essential addition to your make up bag, if you're after a lash primer, I'd really recommend giving this a try.
