Balayage Update

For a while now, I've been wanting to update my Balayage as some of the tones had begun to look a little brassy and a refresh was really needed. I am definitely a Balayage convert now as I love how it gives my hair added depth but at the same time is very low maintenance as I don't need to get my roots done every few weeks and it can just naturally grow out. I wanted to tone down the brassy blond parts and add some caramel tones, which I mentioned when I went into my usual hairdressersBrooks and Brooks to get my fringe trimmed and they recommended I spoke to Shaun about updating my Balayage.

Shaun is a Colour Specialist at the salon and Balayage is his speciality. I had a consultation with Shaun and discussed what I did and didn't want as we looked over some style photos for ideas and he really took on board what I wanted to achieve with the look. Olivia Palermo was definitely an inspiration for this look as both Shaun and I wanted a natural look. My hair has got lighter in the Sun over recent weeks since my appointment, especially while I was in New York. The caramel tones are more noticeable now but still looks very natural and well blended, not streaky or brassy at all. I'm so pleased with the finished look and I do love how low maintenance the Balayage is so I would very much recommend Shaun, as you're definitely in safe hands with him and he provided the high level of service I've come to expect over the years with Brooks and Brooks.

My 2 hour Balayage appointment with Shaun included a consultation and a blow-dry by an assistant and cost £90.
